EVENING FOR DRY THUNDERSTORMS AS WELL AS GUSTY WINDS AND LOW
RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR FIRE WEATHER ZONE 478...
* AFFECTED AREA...Fire Weather Zone 478 Salt Lake Desert.
* THUNDERSTORMS...Scattered dry thunderstorms will continue into
the late afternoon and evening, mainly south of I-80. Strong
gusty winds can also be expected near any storms which develop.
* WINDS...South winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts near 40 mph away
from thunderstorms across areas south of I-80.
* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...Between 10 and 14 percent.
* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will have the potential to
spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.

WEATHER ZONE 479...
* AFFECTED AREA...Fire Weather Zone 479 Wasatch Mountains.
* THUNDERSTORMS...Scattered dry thunderstorms will continue into
the late afternoon and evening, mainly south of I-80. Strong
gusty winds can also be expected near any storms which develop.

...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SOUTHEASTERN RICH...NORTHEASTERN
MORGAN...CENTRAL SUMMIT AND UINTA COUNTIES UNTIL 615 PM MDT...
At 526 PM MDT, National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated
thunderstorms producing strong microburst winds along a line
extending from 11 miles south of Woodruff to near Oakley...and
moving northeast at 60 mph.
Wind gusts of 40 to 55 mph will be possible with these storms.
Locations impacted include...
Evanston, Lyman, Oakley, Robertson, Lonetree, Millburne, Fort
Bridger, Almy, Altamont, Carter, Ragen, Wahsatch, Castle Rock, Church
Buttes, Piedmont and Leroy.

Information:
Strong winds with these storms may occur well ahead of any rain or
lightning. Do not wait for the sound of thunder before taking cover.
SEEK SHELTER IMMEDIATELY inside a sturdy structure and stay away from
windows.
